Engaged in a state park, bride Kristin and her groom John decided to commemorate their proposal with a full blown, Lapham Peak State Park ceremony honoring their love of the outdoors. Up to the task of enhancing the natural beauty of the forested locale, our florists at Belle Fiori were excited to create the floral arrangements for Kristin and John’s Milwaukee area wedding.
An avid fisherman, we collaborated with our couple using locally grown flowers to create an extra special boutonniere for John, complete with fly fishing lures, yellow freesia, and blue thistle. Not to be outdone, Kristin’s bridal bouquet accented John’s piece and also contained yellow freesia in addition to zinnias, white stephanotis, and rudbeckia.
The reception brought the party indoors to celebrate at Milwaukee’s Hinterland, a venue known for their elegant-chic atmosphere and standout beers. Kristin and John brought the outdoors in, keeping with a river-inspired theme reflected in their all-natural centerpieces. River rock, simple florals, and a variety of grasses perfectly accented the room making for the perfect blend of nature and a party centered atmosphere.
Congratulations Kristin and John!
