Ellen and Ruben’s Milwaukee wedding was one of our favorites. Showcasing our romantic and elegant Belle Fiori style, this collection of floral arrangements were the perfect design for this classic couple. The black and white versions of the photographs on Heather’s blog are so timeless that they look like they could have been taken in any era. With Ruben’s groomed Ivy League haircut and Ellen’s fur shawl, it was no surprise that he was fitted with a simple single white rose boutonniere and she held a lush tailored, romantic rose bouquet in classic creams, pastel pinks, and whites. Her bouquet also featured fragrant stock and a tight crown of seeded Eucalyptus-an excellent textural addition.

The bridesmaid’s bouquets were fashioned in a similar style, but incorporated moody fall tones of purple carnations and lisianthus, lime green hydrangea, cream spray roses, and pops of red hypericum berries. The reception was in the lovely traditional style dining room of the Bluemound Country Club, brightened by a wall of windows filtering in the sunlight. It was a stunning and sophisticated venue to say the least. The large, lush silver candelabra and lantern centerpieces fit in perfectly and surprised with unique elements like fall purple kale.

While our florists at Belle Fiori love all styles and themes of weddings, we can’t help but have a sweet spot for classic elegance. Congratulations Ellen and Ruben!
