Traditional, rich, luxurious, elegant, and garden inspired, Jeff and Shira’s Milwaukee wedding was exceptional. Though our lovely Bride-to-be, Shira, was out of town for most of the planning, her event coordinator David Caruso of Dynamic Events and Shira’s Mother did a fabulous job designing a theme that united historic granduer, vintage reflection, a lush summer garden, and a dash of unexpected contemporary details.

Shira’s style reflected vintage charm and modern glamour with a lush romantic bouquet of cream gardenias, stephanotis, lisianthus, and garden roses designed with heavy texture and natural elements in a slight contemporary asymetrical fashion. In a more casual elegance, her bridesmaids wore a sheer draped mini-frock in bright plum with smaller, garden style bouquets of rich purple dahlias, stock, purple anemone, ornamental kale, and bright red rose-hips accented with natural elements such as klematis vine, river oats, herbs and scented geranium foliage.

The Pfister Hotel served as a great venue because it is rich in history and atmosphere. As you walk through the hallways past the deep hues of historic paintings, sparkling glass chandeliers and endless gold trim, it’s hard to imagine being in a more elegant or beautiful space. The ceremony glowed in golden hues as dozens of pillar candles and rose petals lined the aisle, leading the way to the custom built, ceremonial Chuppah adorned with florals on each corner. On either side stood two victorian, wrought iron stands with brilliant florals of plum, purple, amethyst and merlot hues wrapped with a fresh grapevine garland down to the floor.

The reception was also held in the Imperial Ballroom and the cermony florals were repurposed for the evening. Guest tables featured a mix of styles: glowing candle carriage lanterns surrounded by smaller, fresh florals, mercury glass bowls and votives, victorian wrought iron arrangements and large piller candles repurposed from the ceremony, footed terrace urns lined with moss, and glass conservatories all showcasing lush blooms of dahlias, garden roses, stock and kale furnished with loose natural elements of river oats, rye grass, plum branches, berries for an English Garden feel. Thank you Shira and Jeff for choosing our Milwaukee florists at Belle Fiori for your special day!
